Two dozen seminarians from Theological College, joined by Sulpician faculty Father Blanchette and Father Thayer, journeyed south to Richmond, Virginia, to attend the diaconate ordinations of TC brothers Miguel Melendez and Mark Kowalski at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo. More than 1,200 miles to the southwest, another five TC seminarians were accompanying Michael Baynham for the same event at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Dallas, Texas, with Bishop Kevin J. Farrell. TC’s Mark Garrett, a first-year theologian of the Diocese of Dallas, shared with others back in D.C.: “It was incredible to be there with and for my brothers, for such a life-changing event. I cannot even describe it!”
