The summer months have seen the revival of Theological College guest services on a grand scale. More than a dozen groups and organizations — numbering over 250 people — enjoyed the sparkling accommodations, available chapel time, and delicious daily fare that are trademarks of TC hospitality (under the stewardship of the gracious Sodexo team and Scott Boyles, TC facilities manager). Proximity to the Dominican House of Studies and The Catholic University of America attracted diverse individuals and groups in the Church to this venue, for brief or extended stays.
From the end of May to August, the paths of many crossed under the seminary’s arches: candidates for Doctorate in Ministry, Canon Law, and Master of Catechesis degrees; Gregorian Chant and Academy of Catholic Theology students; representatives from the offices of the Catholic Marriage Tribunal and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops; and three groups from the Thomistic Institute, among others. May the year ahead be blessed and fortified by their educative endeavors while staying at TC!
