This year marked the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision and was especially significant for all those who participated in the March for Life. Marching to the Supreme Court, the seminarians, formation faculty, and staff of Theological College braved the cold and gave a voice to the unborn and all those affected by abortion. United in their respect for life, hundreds of thousands of people marched through the streets of Washington, D.C. to stand up for the right to life. TC also hosted over 100 seminarians who traveled to D.C. for the March.

Soprano Nola Richardson and lutenist John Armato presented an afternoon concert featuring music from the Baroque and Renaissance periods in TC’s main chapel. After the concert, a small reception allowed all the guests to visit with the two talented musicians. A friend of Theological College, Ms. Richardson also performed at Father Phillip Brown’s installation as Rector of Theological College in the Fall of 2011.

Alumni Days was a great success! More than 50 alumni from around the country returned to meet with classmates and friends from TC during the two-day event. A highlight of the celebration this year was the reunion lecture held on Wednesday, October 3 and presented by Father Robert Barron (B’82), the new rector of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, IL.
