On Sunday, September 27, the TC community formally celebrated the many years of formation ministry and the recent retirement of their rector, Rev. Gerald McBrearity, P.S.S.

The 2020-21 formation year is underway, following a dynamic orientation week for the 17 new seminarians and a prayer-filled warm welcome for the entire community of 60 seminarians!

With the help of the Archdiocese of Washington and others, Acting Rector Dominic Ciriaco and Vice-Rector Chris Arockiaraj have been hard at work preparing a safe and healthy return to TC’s dynamic formation program.

A new Vice-Rector and Dean of Men have been appointed to assist Acting Rector Rev. Dominic Ciriaco, P.S.S., in the leadership and guidance of Theological College.

Graduation congratulations to the Deacon and Basselin Classes of 2020!

On July 1st, Father Dominic Ciriaco, P.S.S., will accept the reins from TC’s current Rector, Father Gerald McBrearity, P.S.S., who will be transitioning into retirement after almost five decades of dedicated priestly service, most of which has been in Sulpician ministry.

As we joyfully celebrate Christ’s glorious resurrection, may your heart be embraced in more intimate union with his saving grace in the Easter Season and throughout the year!

As we enter into Holy Week during this uniquely challenging historical moment in the life of the Church, TC’s rector, Fr. McBrearity, reminds us of the ever-present hope of the Lord’s sacrifice for the world.
